Course Description
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
This course is a visual, practical introduction to project management for beginners and learners at an early intermediate level. Each lesson builds a diagram, schedule, or calculation step by step, so you can see how plans are made and how projects are kept on track. A running example, a community bike repair shop called Cedar Cycle Works, connects every lesson.
The course is organized in three parts. The first part covers project foundations: what a project is, project life cycles, starting with a charter and stakeholders, and defining scope with a work breakdown structure. The second part covers planning the work: scheduling and the critical path, estimating and budgeting, risk management, and quality and communication. The third part covers leading and delivering: teams and stakeholders, agile and Scrum, monitoring with earned value, and closing a project.
Each lesson runs about five minutes and focuses on one idea, building toward a key insight that makes the concept click. You can move through the material at your own pace, pause on any slide, and return to a topic whenever you need it. Key terms are defined the first time they appear, examples are small and easy to follow, and each lesson closes with a summary of the main idea before the next one begins. The lessons build on each other, so watching them in order is recommended.
The course contains 13 short lectures totaling about 60 minutes of video. It teaches core concepts, is independent, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any company or organization mentioned. It makes no claims about career or income outcomes.
AI tools were used in creating this course. AI was used to help draft the lesson scripts and slides, and the narration is a synthetic (AI-generated) voice, not a recording of a human speaker. The instructor directed the course structure and content.
