Course Description
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
This course is a visual introduction to Excel for beginners and learners at an early intermediate level. Instead of showing only finished spreadsheets, each lesson builds a worksheet step by step: a grid appears on screen, the formula bar shows the formula, and the cells that the formula uses are highlighted so you can see exactly where every result comes from. A running example, a small neighborhood shop called Maple Street Bakery, connects every lesson.
The course is organized in three parts. The first part covers spreadsheet foundations: workbooks, cells and data types, formulas and cell references, and essential functions. The second part covers logic and lookup: IF, AND, OR, conditional counting and summing, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and INDEX with MATCH. The third part covers analysis and presentation: sorting, filtering, cleaning data, PivotTables, and charts.
Each lesson runs about five minutes and focuses on one idea, so you can move through the material at your own pace, pause on any slide, and return to a topic whenever you need it. Key terms are defined the first time they appear, examples use small tables that are easy to follow, and each lesson closes with a summary of the main idea before the next one begins. The lessons build on each other, so watching them in order is recommended.
The course contains 8 short lectures totaling about forty minutes of video. It teaches core concepts and describes Excel on a modern desktop version, noting where a feature is only available in newer versions. It is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. It makes no claims about career or income outcomes.
AI tools were used in creating this course. AI was used to help draft the lesson scripts and slides, and the narration is a synthetic (AI-generated) voice, not a recording of a human speaker. The instructor directed the course structure and content.
